Thanks to Ike the whole midwest is flooding. Ikay, maybe that's an exaggeration, but it seems like it. We've have more rain than I can fathom. It rained Friday, all day yesterday, and hasn't stopped yet today. Roads are closed in town, neighborhoods are under water (well, their basements). We even had about 2 inches of rain running through our garage.
Of course, after seeing the flooding in Cedar Rapids and the damage brought on by Ike - this is nothing.
Tomorrow the rain is predicted to stop - and sun the rest of the week. :)
Tomorrow Leigha will be 11 months - with only 15 days to go till my birthday. Where did the summer go?
Oh, and Hunter opted for band and swimming LESSONS (once a week). Good choice buddy.

School was even closed here today. The amount of water in this area is crazy! It's turned everything upside down. Traffic is madness, and now I have to go fight it to get to Kohl's to buy a carpet cleaner to hopefully head off the mold and yuck from water in our basement. The joys of living in the midwest. When it rains, it truly pours, and doesn't stop for days. Hope all is well with you and your home!
